While the overall score is calculated by every aspect of your performance, different communicative and enabling skills scores are calculated by evaluating different questions. Grammar
When we talk about someone being good at English, we assume they have good grammar skills. So of course grammar is one of the important element on which PTE scores you. English has some really difficult rules but do your best to make sure you follow them while writing. Pronunciation
Speaking and speaking right, two different things. Pronunciation is important as wrong one can confuse the listener. Don't confuse it with an accent.
